About the artist
Anson Lo is a Hong Kong male singer, actor, and dancer born on July 7, 1995. He studied business analysis in the business administration program at City University of Hong Kong, leaving one year before graduation to become a professional dancer and dance instructor.
Dance was the starting point of Anson Lo's entertainment career. In December 2013, Lo performed street dance with his dance studio at "油尖旺滅罪禁毒親子同樂夜2013"; in January 2014, he took part in a youth street-dance competition with a dance team and won the championship. As a professional dancer, he danced behind Aaron Kwok and also appeared as a dancer in the music video for Kelly Chen's "打字機."
Work at a concert led Anson Lo to a talent show. At a 李玟 concert, Lo met 黃慧君, the producer of "Good Night Show 全民造星," and was invited to join the program; after entering the competition in May 2018, he reached the final 30 and became one of five "Eye Catching Idols." On November 3 that year, Lo and eleven other contestants formed MIRROR.
His solo singing career began with "一所懸命" on February 29, 2020; in August that year, he released "Burn Out," the first single for which he wrote his own lyrics. The subsequent "Megahit" used Anson Lo's familiar singing-and-dancing format; HK01 described both its musical style and choreography as different from his previous work. The song was released in September 2021 and placed ninth in the Ultimate Song Chart Awards' Professional Recommendation Top Ten for 2021. Lo also won MAMA Best New Asian Artist (Mandarin) that year.
His acting career also expanded from television series to films. "男排女將," which premiered in November 2020, was Anson Lo's first television series, in which he played Bobby, a young man passionate about volleyball. In 2021, he appeared in the Hong Kong version of "大叔的愛" as real-estate employee 凌少牧; that year, his first starring film, "假冒女團," was released, with Lo playing 雷紫荊, a man who inadvertently joins a girl group.
His live performances include collaborative music shows and solo concerts. On November 13, 2022, Anson Lo and 鄭欣宜 held "神の拉闊" at AsiaWorld-Expo, his first Music is Live performance. In July 2023, his first solo concert, "ANSON LO 「THE STAGE」IN MY SIGHT SOLO CONCERT 2023," ran for four shows at AsiaWorld-Expo. His second solo concert, “ANSON LO "KINGDOM" LIVE 2025,” was held at the same venue from December 6 to 10.
Covers and cross-generational collaborations form another strand of his music. In January 2023, Anson Lo joined Universal Music's "REMEMBERING LESLIE" project by invitation and covered Leslie Cheung's "偷情." In November 2024, Liza Wang invited him to guest at "阿姐·汪明荃演唱會 2024," where they sang "紫釵恨" and "迷人Pink Lady" together; he also choreographed the dance-challenge video for Wang's "Make my day."
Overseas stage work continued in 2025. Anson Lo and Keung To appeared on the South Korean SBS broadcast of "SUPERSOUND FESTIVAL" on January 18, marking Lo's first in-person appearance on a South Korean music stage. In September that year, he also joined "2025 The Fact Music Awards" in Macau as a special performance guest.
His screen acting later expanded to an English-language production. Anson Lo joined the television series "THE SEASON" in March 2025, his first screen work with entirely English dialogue; the series aired in June 2026.
