About the artist

Jer Lau is a Hong Kong male singer and actor born on November 20, 1992. He sings and plays electric bass and guitar, and later became a member of MIRROR.

Bands and street performances made up Jer Lau's musical experience before he formally entered the industry. In 2012, he formed the pop band Bromance with friends as lead vocalist and bassist; in 2013, he formed the metal rock band 子非愚, which mainly created original Cantonese songs. After graduating from tertiary education, Lau worked full-time in music and bands and sang on the streets in multiple districts of Hong Kong before becoming an entertainment reporter.

To continue pursuing music, Jer Lau quit his reporting job in 2018 and joined "Good Night Show 全民造星." He was initially eliminated in the first round of the top 50, later returned with an additional place, and ultimately reached the top 20; after the competition, he was invited to join MIRROR as one of its lead vocalists.
