About the artist
Keung To is a Hong Kong male singer and actor born in Hong Kong on April 30, 1999, who later became a member of MIRROR.
Before his entertainment career, Keung To held regular jobs and undertook vocational study. After leaving secondary school, he worked part-time at a coffee shop and, with a social worker's help, joined the Teen才再現 program before enrolling in a vocational diploma course in sports coaching at Youth College; completing the course was equivalent to secondary-school graduation. While studying, he played the male lead in the nano-film "1線之差," which won three honors: Best Cinematography, Best Editing, and an Award of Merit.
His talent-show experience began with an unprepared audition. Keung To had planned to attend an SM Entertainment audition with a friend, but auditioned alone after the friend was unexpectedly absent and was eliminated in the second round; he later auditioned for "快樂男聲" and advanced from the Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan region into the national top 30 in 2017. In 2018, he entered and won "Good Night Show 全民造星," then debuted with eleven other contestants as MIRROR.
Television acting and solo music began almost simultaneously. While competing in "全民造星," Keung To auditioned successfully for the role of 姜太文 in "退休女皇," which aired in June 2019. After the group debuted, he released his first solo single, "一號種籽," on June 11, and the song entered the top ten of several major music charts.
His early solo work began carrying more specific personal themes. Released on September 2, "孤獨病" drew on Keung To's personal experience to describe how he felt about facing loneliness.
"Master Class" connected personal expression with awards. On May 29, 2021, it became Keung To's first song to top all four major charts and discussed, from a personal perspective, escaping traditional ideas and living as oneself. "Dear My Friend," was released on August 6 and won "我最喜愛的歌曲" at that year's "叱咤樂壇流行榜頒獎典禮."
The project surrounding his ninth single also expanded into a visual record. Keung To revealed the concept of the "ninth child" in September 2021 and released the documentaries "答案" and "問題" that November, hoping to present himself more fully. His ninth single, "鏡中鏡," was sent to radio on January 2, 2022, while the final chapter of the third documentary segment, "答案," was released on January 26 to record a path out of a low period.
His dramatic work moved from television to film. Keung To went to Taiwan in 2020 to film "超感應學園," which aired in Taiwan and Hong Kong in 2021, and sang the ending theme "愛不作聲" with Anson Lo. In August 2021, he appeared in his first film, "阿媽有咗第二個," which opened in Hong Kong on August 11, 2022; Keung To performed "風雨不改" for the film, and the song was later nominated for Best Original Film Song at the 41st Hong Kong Film Awards.
His starring television series continued to be paired with music. On October 24, 2022, "季前賽," Keung To's first ViuTV series as male lead, premiered alongside the release of its theme song "無人不知的戰果" and duet "痴漢之歌." That year, he also went to New York to film "我的天堂城市," playing Jack, a dance-loving student from Taiwan pursuing graduate studies in computer engineering in New York.
His personal brand launched in 2023. Keung To introduced TO ZERO on April 22, with the name signifying "Zero is the origination. Zero is the destination." Each brand collection selects one limited-edition item for charity sale; the T-shirt from the first "TO BE KIND" collection went on sale April 30, benefiting Ronald McDonald House Charities Hong Kong and the Children's Cancer Foundation.
His stage activities in 2023 included a solo concert and overseas performances. Keung To performed at "One Love Asia Festival 2023 – Malaysia" and appeared on Sony Music Entertainment Japan's "The First Take." In August, he held "KEUNG TO:「WAVES」IN MY SIGHT SOLO CONCERT 2023" at AsiaWorld-Expo; originally three shows, it added an August 2 performance for a total of four. The theme song "濤" was released on August 1.
"濤" also extended his run of consecutive awards. According to on.cc, the song received 5,055 votes to win "我最喜愛的歌曲大獎" at the 2023 "叱咤樂壇流行榜頒獎典禮," making it Keung To's fourth consecutive year winning the award. During the concert, he also performed "好得太過份" and "Every Single Time" for the first time.
His solo songs continued to use different production teams. "黑月" was sent to radio on January 12, 2024, with lyrics by 小克 and T-Ma handling composition, arrangement, and production for Keung To for the first time. "Every Single Time" was composed by 張繼聰 with lyrics by 陳詠謙; 馮德倫 was invited to direct the music video, which used virtual production with a large LED screen to present a 3D environment.
His interest in basketball also featured in public events. On December 7, 2024, Keung To took part in the NBA Legends Celebrity Game at Cotai Arena at The Venetian Macao, scoring 13 points with two rebounds and five assists.
His solo music expanded to include a Mandarin-language song in 2025. On August 30, Keung To premiered his first solo Mandarin song, "流浪星球," at "2025 GQ STYLE FEST 潮流文化祭" in Taipei; the song was officially released on September 2. In December, he held "KEUNG TO 「LAVA」LIVE 2025," adding five performances after the original four for a total of nine shows.
"LAVA" expanded into a tour in 2026. Beginning March 13, Keung To launched “KEUNG TO "LAVA" LIVE TOUR 2026,” with six shows across London, Toronto, Reno, and Macau. His first radio single of the year was the 30th-anniversary remake of the Ronald McDonald House Charities Hong Kong theme song "沒有翅膀的天使."
