About the artist

Lily Lee is a Taiwanese female singer. In 1979, she entered and won the second "民謠風" singing competition organized by Haishan Records, but did not take part in recording the third-volume commemorative album "民謠風," thereby missing the opportunity to enter show business at the time.

Lily Lee's voice first appeared on 邱晨's solo album "邱晨的季節" in 1980. In March 1981, she recorded "三人展" with Wu Chu-chu and Michelle Pan; it was the first album released by the newly founded Rock Records. Lee subsequently spent years singing Western songs in nightclubs.

After joining Himalaya Records, Lily Lee released her debut solo album "梳子與刮鬍刀" in 1986; her 1993 album "發現李麗芬" included "得意的笑."

"愛江山更愛美人" aired with the television drama "倚天屠龍記" in 1994 and was included as the ending theme on the album "就這樣約定"; that same year's "愛不釋手" aired with the television drama "唐太宗李世民" and was used as its opening theme.

Lily Lee formerly worked as a radio host; after releasing the Taiwanese-language compilation album "春天的花蕊" in 1995, she shifted her career focus to radio broadcasting.
