In October 1996 Capital Artists issued the first solo album "狼來了". In June 1997 issued "直覺", with tracks including "字跡". When interviewed in June 2026, Miriam Yeung said of having written only two songs for now, "字跡" being one of them. In January 1998 issued "1 至 100", and in August 1999 "夏天的故事".

The 2000 "少女的祈禱" had lyrics by 林夕, music and arrangement by Chan Fai Young; with that song Miriam Yeung first won Ultimate Song Chart Female Singer Gold.

In 2001, because Capital Artists closed, moved to Cinepoly. In September of the same year issued "Miriam", with tracks including "野孩子"; in November 2002 issued "Miriam's Music Box", with tracks including "可惜我是水瓶座". HK01 said Miriam Yeung is known as "大笑姑婆"; works include "可惜我是水瓶座", "小城大事", "飛女正傳" and "野孩子". In March 2003 Universal Music issued "揚眉".

In January 2004 EMI issued "2004開大", and in April 2005 issued "Single". In December 2006 Gold Label Entertainment issued "Unlimited"; at the end of 2006 Miriam Yeung's contract with Gold Label expired. In January 2007 transferred to join Leon Lai's AMUSIC; reports said joining at a ten-million salary, for a term of three years. In August of the same year, the issuing-company field of "Meridian" is recorded as 東亞唱片.

In 2010 signed to return to "娘家" Capital Artists; Miriam Yeung said of signing for two years at a "親情價"; the return ceremony invited 1995 New Talent emcee 鄭丹瑞 to host. In March 2011 issued "Ready or not"; this was the first Mandarin album after returning to 娘家 ten years after leaving Capital Artists, and also the third solo Mandarin album of the singing career; in Taiwan it was issued by 華納唱片.

Miriam Yeung was also nominated for Best Actress at the 30th Hong Kong Film Awards for "志明與春嬌"; that year's winner was 劉嘉玲. At the 32nd Hong Kong Film Awards in 2013, Miriam Yeung won with "春嬌與志明", as that year's Best Actress winner. 2017's "春嬌救志明" starred 余文樂 and Miriam Yeung, directed by 彭浩翔, the third work of the series.

In 2015 Miriam Yeung held "楊千嬅 Let's Begin 世界巡迴演唱會2015", the first Hong Kong Coliseum concert after becoming a mother, with Eason Chan as guest of that show. Oriental Daily News wrote that Miriam Yeung debuted in 1995, and December 2017 would be the seventh time stepping onto the Hong Kong Coliseum stage.

In 2010, Miriam Yeung gathered with over two hundred artistes in a recording studio to record the Yushu disaster-relief theme song "手連心". Also attended a hearing-impaired charity concert as a performing guest in the capacity of "聽覺大使".

Miriam Yeung made a special trip to visit the Shantou film locations 樟林古港永定樓 and 張厝內老厝.
