Quack Wu is an Amis male entertainer from Hualien, Taiwan, born on December 4, 1985, and nicknamed 大Q. He graduated from the Department of Applied English at National Taipei University of Technology. At the end of 2016, he officially changed his stage name to 吳秉洛 and later also performed under the name "大Q秉洛."
Quack Wu first placed second in the National Taipei University of Technology campus division of "第一屆校園歌喉戰," a competition held by "快樂星期天." A year later, he reached the top ten of the second season of "超級星光大道" and placed fourth on January 18, 2008. Recalling his motivation for entering, Quack Wu said, "At the time I competed just for fun and out of interest; I didn't really feel I was qualified to become a singer." In 2010, he competed in "超級星光大道：星光傳奇賽" and placed sixth.
In 2008, Quack Wu sang "心願便利貼," the ending theme of "命中注定我愛你," with 元若藍, and also performed "起步走," included on the same soundtrack; that year, he also sang "花很迷惘" with 葉瑋庭. He released his first solo album, "Dr.Q," on October 21, 2011, and wrote five of its songs.
On November 6, 2009, Quack Wu formed Q&A with Alex Lee and sang "真相大白" with Alex Lee and Genie Chuo; the group later disbanded. In 2014, he formed the four-member group BadAmis 壞阿美人 with 巫睿琪, 張詩怡, and 楊成祥. He has also sung backing vocals on other singers' concert tours, participating in 黃小琥's "狂" tour in 2017; in 2024, he sang "Ohnay" with 姑慕·巴紹.
In 2018, Quack Wu performed "不失陪的夢," the theme song for the film "紅樓夢." In 2020, he performed "模樣," the Chinese-language theme song for the film "說不出的告別." His television drama songs include "那時候的他," an insert song for the 2022 drama "額外旅程." In 2024, he performed "至少我還有勇氣唱情歌(For You)," an insert song for "華麗計程車行."
In 2025, Quack Wu released "唱我們的歌 My Song" as part of the "深夜專屬 Q.R.Code" project; the song is a cover of the theme song from the Korean drama "沒關係，是愛情啊." The "深夜專屬 Q.R.Code" music project plans to release its second single, "寂寞日常 Lonely as Usual," in 2026 as a cover of Mika Nakashima's "櫻花紛飛時." While recording the song, Quack Wu also said that he completed the recording in the studio while "holding back sobs."
