After being admitted to the University of Hong Kong in 2016, Sinnie Ng continued entering composition and singing competitions. In early 2018, she won the songwriting category of "HKU Singing Contest 2018," after which judge 周博賢 arranged for Sinnie Ng to sing the Japanese-language theme song of the film "311復興與再生." From April to July that year, Sinnie Ng entered "ICMA 大專聯校歌唱比賽2018" with "穿花蝴蝶" and won the solo category; from September until the following March, she also participated in the music development project "Starliteer 馭星者."

Sinnie Ng also gradually established channels for releasing her own work. In January 2017, she began posting cover songs on her personal YouTube channel; after Shockwave disbanded, the channel operated under her own name. She later released her first original song, "望," writing both the music and lyrics, and in January 2021 released her second original song, "做夢時我會找到幻想中的那個你."

晚安莉莉 continued Sinnie Ng's work creating music with a band. In June 2021, she released a band version of "望" under the name 晚安莉莉 for the first time. That July, she collaborated with lyricist 雷暐樂 to release "下雨時我會想着你帶給我的天晴." In December, Sinnie Ng entered "香港青年樂隊大賽2021" as lead singer of 晚安莉莉 and won an award.

Competing in "全民造星IV" brought Sinnie Ng's solo and band works to the talent-show stage. She entered the competition in November 2021, performing the original work "做夢時我會找到幻想中的那個你" with 晚安莉莉 in the preliminary round, and was eliminated in the top 96 after the one-on-one preliminary battle. At the end of that year, Sinnie Ng formed Lolly Talk with several fellow contestants from "全民造星IV" and became a member. HK01 reported that the group released its first song, "8SEC."

In Lolly Talk, besides singing, providing backing vocals, and composing, Sinnie Ng also participates in music-video production, merchandise design, and external liaison work. The group's first two songs, "8SEC" and "三分甜," were both created by 晚安莉莉 and 雷暐樂, and the creators also made cameo appearances in the first music video. Discussing how the members get along, Sinnie Ng said, "We went from strangers to teammates, building trust and confidence bit by bit, just like everything Lolly Talk has experienced since the group was formed."

During the group's activities, Sinnie Ng continued creating for various projects. In July 2023, "Get Set Go!," the theme song she composed for the 叱咤903 program "強大人Get Set Go!," premiered. That same month, the music video for "四方帽之約," which she created for Lolly Talk's first anniversary, was released, and the song went live on music platforms. In October that year, the music video for the group song "二人限定故事," with lyrics co-written by Sinnie Ng and Tania Chan, was released, and the song went live on music platforms on October 14.

Among the group's works the following year, "六度相隔理論," composed by Sinnie Ng, was sent to radio on February 1, 2024, and became the week 12 chart-topper on 新城電台勁爆本地榜 on March 23.

Sinnie Ng has also worked as a program host. In October 2023, she hosted the "啟德" and "舊機場故事" segments of the ViuTV program "長知昔2" and interviewed 錢耀昌.

Stage and voice performances followed in 2024. In September, Sinnie Ng, Melody Wong, Elka Cheng, ROVER, and others completed a run of 10 performances of the musical "重拾：10分鐘." In December, she voiced the female lead Moana in the animated film "Moana 2" and sang songs in the film, including the Cantonese theme song "航行他方."

Sinnie Ng's work in 2025 included a personal duet and band music. On January 27, "898," a duet she co-composed and co-wrote with 范梓謙, was sent to radio, and it went live on music platforms the following day. On July 24, 晚安莉莉 released the music video for the studio single "如果花火可不消散." Sinnie Ng wrote the lyrics and co-composed the song with bassist Chick Chan; she also participated in directing a music video for the first time, co-directing it with Ivan Lai.

Sinnie Ng also uses poetry, calligraphy, and type design in personal and group products. In January 2024, she founded "Sinzerely 倩詩概念," using poetry and ideas in designs for clothing and lifestyle goods. Her hand-drawn lettering has been used on Lolly Talk merchandise as well as for the lyrics and covers of her original-song music videos; the typeface is called "仙妮體."
