In 1991, Tarcy Su sang "在我生命中的每一天" with 成龍. In 1997, she joined the Taipei Story Theatre's large-scale stage production "春光進行曲," which was performed at the National Theater, Tainan Municipal Cultural Center, and other venues. In February 1999, Su performed in the "三民主義" concert with Wakin Chau and 無印良品.

Her acting work unfolded across film and television. Su made her film debut in "只要為你活一天" in 1993, appeared in the PTS Life Story drama "童女之舞" in 2002, and was nominated in 2003 for that year's Golden Bell Award for Actress in a Miniseries or Television Film for the Life Story production "終身大事."

The shift in focus between recording and acting occurred after "戀戀真言." After releasing the album in 2001, Su shifted the center of her entertainment career to acting. She explained in an interview that she wanted to try drama and was also considering conditions in the record market, so she paused and reassessed her direction; she also stressed that she had not given up singing, but was thinking about what to sing and what she wanted listeners to hear.

The film "深海" brought Su an acting-award nomination: she played a patient with depression and was nominated for Best Actress at the Asia-Pacific Film Festival in 2005. After moving to What's Music in 2005, Su returned to music the following year with "蘇慧倫同名專輯."

Tarcy Su won Best Actress at the Rome Asian Film Festival in 2008 for "流浪神狗人." In 2009, she appeared in the stage play "露露·聽我說," performing in Shanghai and Hangzhou. In 2024, Su played forensic pathologist 薛欣寧 in the Netflix series "誰是被害者2," her first dramatic performance in twelve years.

Tarcy Su was scheduled to take part in the main "超犀利趴9" concert at Taipei Arena on August 4, 2018. In March 2020, she released the album "面面," which earned her first nomination for Best Mandarin Female Singer at the 32nd Golden Melody Awards in 2021. The album track "安和" won Best Composer; HUSH received the award, and Su was the singer.

The 30th-anniversary "生命之花" concert tour was held at the Taipei Music Center on September 12, 2020, the Kaohsiung Music Center on September 3, 2022, and The Star Theatre in Singapore on June 1, 2024.

Tarcy Su also continued to appear on television music programs and release new songs. Starting in October 2023, she appeared regularly on "我們的歌（第五季）." In 2024, she released the upbeat rock single "不管不管," created jointly by 白安, 葛大為, and 陳君豪.

The album "輕重Aftersun" was released in February 2025. While gathering songs for it, Su asked 告五人 member 雲安 for a song during the recording of "我們的歌," resulting in "就說給我聽." The 2025 "就說給我聽" concert tour stopped in Shanghai, Hangzhou, Taipei, Wuhan, Beijing, Chengdu, and Guangzhou from June 13 to July 13, 2025.

Tarcy Su released the single "貴得可以" in 2026, again collaborating with Chang Chen-yue and 葛大為, with 陳建瑋 as producer. In 2026, Su won "2026 hito年度十大華語歌曲" for "就說給我聽" and also received "hito STAR全能藝人."
