According to Wikipedia, in 1993 issued "貼心", paired with the lead "試著了解", and sold 300,000 copies in Taiwan. That same year, the film "新不了情", directed by 爾冬陞 and starring 劉青雲 and 袁詠儀, took the same-titled song as its theme; this song was included on "新不了情（電影原聲帶）". The 1994 album "斷線" included this "新不了情", which later long stayed on KTV hot charts. The same article also records that in early 1996 issued "割愛", Taiwan sales exceeding 400,000 copies; late that year's "就值得了愛" received Taiwan sales certification as double platinum, exceeding 300,000 copies; 1999's "不換" still sold 250,000 copies; and writes that with a high, gentle and soft voice Wanfang held a place in Mandarin pop, and through the whole 1990s issued many best-selling records. The National Cultural Memory Bank's wording is close, calling it "a high and warm soft singing voice", especially "新不了情" as a song known throughout the Chinese-speaking world.

After the millennium turned to radio broadcasting, once one of the hosts of 中廣音樂網; Wikipedia also records outstanding work in stage plays, and that from the 2000s on Wanfang mostly did drama acting, and has also served as a stage-play director. In 2002 issued 相愛的運氣, inviting 陳珊妮 to take the helm; in 2004 with PTS's "冷鋒過境" played a muscular-dystrophy patient and took Best Actress in a Drama Program at the 39th Golden Bell Awards, and in 2008 again with PTS's "不愛練習曲" received Best Supporting Actress in a Miniseries at the 43rd Golden Bell Awards.

In 2010 issued the music work "我們不要傷心了" after an eight-year absence, and on October 30 and 31 held the concert "你所不知道的那些夜晚" at Taipei International Convention Center, the first show's guest 亂彈阿翔, the second Wu Bai. In 2011 with that album first nominated for Best Female Singer at the Golden Melody Awards; this was the first nomination in 21 years in the business. In 2012 there was 原來我們都是愛著的. On March 7, 2015 again held the concert "原來的地方" at Taipei International Convention Center. On April 14, 2018 first took Taipei Arena and held the concert "時間仍然繼續在走", and on December 8 first took Kaohsiung Arena for a same-titled concert; that concert's live album is year-marked 2021.

In 2020 left Rock Records after thirty years of collaboration, joined 何樂音樂, and issued the album "給你們", the tracks including "時間梯", "阿峰今天沒有來" and "模樣"; this album took seven nominations at the 32nd Golden Melody Awards, and on the nomination list besides Best Mandarin Female Singer and Best Mandarin Album, the same nomination list also had 黃婷, 黃韻玲 and 黃少雍, respectively attached to "阿峰今天沒有來", "給你們 Dear All" and "好風景 Dazzled", and "阿峰今天沒有來" was also nominated for Song of the Year. On August 21, 2021, jury chair 鍾成虎 presented the Jury Award, taken by "給你們 Dear All". When receiving the award Wanfang opened with "Damn, I completely didn't expect this", and also said she had thought this award would go to 巴奈, and would dedicate the award to 巴奈. 鍾成虎 said this album tried to pass a gentle message, praising the perfect fusion of the singer's life and the production. 太報 writes Wanfang had already sung for life, death and parting. Wanfang's own account is: thirty years as a singer, the first ten years sang many love songs, the third ten years wanted to return to exploring questions of life. The next day 鄭文燦 said "She should have won an award long ago", and said that in the 1990s Wanfang sang a great many television-drama and film themes, and that high, gentle, very feeling voice is a shared memory of those born in the 1960s.

On November 12, 2022, Wanfang held at Taipei Arena the debut-30th-anniversary concert twice postponed because of the pandemic. In 2023, with the film "五月雪", competed for Golden Horse Best Supporting Actress, Best Original Film Song and other categories; the single "五月的人" was the theme of the film. From the same year opened the "願陽光照耀 Sunshine ON" series tour, including July 29 at Taitung County Government Cultural Affairs Department Performance Hall, and extending to January 5, 2024 at Zepp New Taipei, March 23 Singapore and May 1 Zepp KL, Kuala Lumpur. United Daily News on August 14, 2025 reported that New Taipei Metro would on the evening of August 24 hold the concert "下一站，憶起唱民歌" on the Tamsui Fisherman's Wharf stage, inviting 黃韻玲, 殷正洋, Wanfang, 謝宇威, 南方二重唱 and others to take turns singing; the same report also previewed that Wanfang would with 黃韻玲 interpret "娃娃的故事" and "七月涼山" as a duet, the first reunion of the two since a 1998 folk-song cover album. 黃韻玲 said the two had known each other many years, and every time writing a song for Wanfang there was no need to match Key; Wanfang herself said folk songs are friends that accompanied growing up, and in school days often went to Tamsui to watch the sea and feel the wind. In 2026 there is also "Everyday Sunday" (with 壯女們), and July 16's "夜光", the theme of the series "成名在望".
