About the artist

Wu Qing-feng is a Taiwanese male singer-songwriter and music producer, stage name 青峰, born August 30, 1982, a founding member and lead singer of Sodagreen, and the band's main writer of words and music. English names include Wu Qing-feng, Wu Tsing-fong and Greeny Wu. Wu Qing-feng was born in Taipei City and grew up around Jiangzicui in Banqiao. Early on, when typing or signing, the habit was to use the character "峯". Fans and the mass media more often use "峰". The two are variant forms.

At three or four the grandfather began teaching Wu Qing-feng to write. When there were visitors the grandfather would have Wu Qing-feng show character recognition and read the newspaper aloud. From childhood Wu Qing-feng liked turning through dictionaries, and in primary school once took several dictionaries and compiled a "selected collection", which became the basis of later lyric writing. In primary school, because an older sister began piano, Wu Qing-feng watched the playing from the side and then, when no one was home, felt out the practice in secret. Piano and theory were both studied from interest, with no formal training.
