About
Vivian Chow kicked off her “A Long and Lasting Love” 30th-anniversary concert series on January 26, 2018, at the Hong Kong Coliseum. The series consisted of four consecutive shows, and the first one was a sell-out. According to a report in the Hong Kong Wen Wei Po, the concert was titled “Ten Thousand Days, Love Unfaded”—ten thousand days equaling thirty years. Vivian Chow expressed her gratitude to the audience for their unwavering love over the past three decades; she also expressed regret that she had been unable to perform “Exchanging Devotion for Deep Affection” seven years ago due to time constraints, so she made a point of singing it for her fans this time.
During the encore, Vivian Chow transformed into the Red Sailor Soldier, followed by Wang Xinping and Tang Baoru, who appeared as the Blue and Yellow Sailor Soldiers, respectively, to perform the “Sailor Moon” theme song together, sending the entire audience into a frenzy. The concert concluded with “Love Endures Through Eternity.” Getty Images labeled the performance as “Vivian Chow ‘A Long and Lasting Love’ 30th Anniversary Concert.”
