The undisputed queen of the stage, Joey Yung, finally returned to the Hong Kong Coliseum in February 2008—following *Reflection of Joey’s Live 2005*—to hold a ten-night run of *Star LightJoey Yung Concert 08*. With eight years in the industry under her belt, Joey—aiming to become a well-rounded stage performer—incorporated a wealth of new elements into her solo concert. She made her entrance wearing a black crystal dress and a vinyl record headpiece, and after belting out “Mirage,” she immediately shed the black dress to perform “Workout with Jane Fonda” and her new song “Lucky Star” in a form-fitting gym top. In addition, this music diva personally performed high-difficulty dance moves, including dangerous mid-air flips, complemented by laser effects and sexy dance costumes, showcasing the fruits of her tireless efforts.
The ten-show run of the “Star LightJoey Yung Concert” broke Joey’s all-time solo concert record and received an unprecedentedly enthusiastic response. This 3-DVD set was filmed in the highest-definition HD1080 format and features over 30 of Joey’s best live performances. Due to the unprecedented success of this concert series, four additional “Part 2” shows were added from April 12 to 15, 2008, all of which were sold out.
