DMI was a Hong Kong music company formed in 1986 as a joint venture between Dickson Entertainment and EMI Hong Kong.
About
The full company name was Dickson Music Industries Ltd. Dickson Entertainment held 60 percent and EMI held 40 percent, while EMI’s team handled production and distribution. Danny Chan issued DMI’s first album, 《凝望》, in 1986 and left at the end of 1988. The company’s final album appeared in 1993 afterward.
