Current Records was a Hong Kong music company founded in 1985; Bertelsmann Music acquired and absorbed the company in 1989.
About
Current Records was established in Hong Kong in 1985. Rosanne Lui signed with the company in 1987. Bertelsmann Music acquired it in 1989, ending its independent operation and bringing it into the Bertelsmann organization. The company later served as the predecessor of BMG Hong Kong within the Hong Kong market.
