Pony Canyon Taiwan was jointly established in Taipei in 1992 as the Taiwan subsidiary of Japan’s Pony Canyon. Tsai Chin worked with the company from 1992 to 1994, while Sally Yeh was signed from 1995 to 1997. The company closed and withdrew from Taiwan in 1998 following the Asian financial crisis, and its music publishing business was sold.
