麗音唱片 signed Rosanne Lui in 1996 and planned to release one album for her each year. The label became unprofitable after the 1998 Asian financial crisis, and Lui left that same year. It ceased business in 1999. In the 2010s, another label acquired the 麗音唱片 brand and its song copyrights.
