About the artist
Former Mr. lead vocalist Alan Po was born on February 29, 1980; before working with the band, he was employed in Universal Music's international division, where he handled contact with radio stations.
His early experience included the indie band White Noise, which predated the formation of Mr. The band's principal lyricists are Quincy Tam and Desmond Tam, one of whom also co-wrote music with Alan Po.
His solo career began with signing a contract and releasing singles: Alan Po signed with 耀榮文化 as a solo artist in 2017, released "人在野" that August, and followed it with "經得起變化" in April 2018. After his contract ended in 2019, he was invited to join Sony Music and continued his solo music career.
Moving into a solo career also broadened Alan Po's creative involvement: he personally takes part in everything from composing, writing lyrics, and arranging his solo works to developing concepts for music-video shoots.
The membership situation later changed: when the band independently released "輕狂歲月" in 2024, Alan Po did not participate in the four-member activities and was no longer a member.
His solo releases continued in 2025: on April 4, Alan Po released "要遲少少" and "喂起身！" simultaneously. "如是因 如是果," released the same year, features lyrics by 梁栢堅, music and arrangement by Larry Wong, and co-production by Alan Po and 舒文.
