Kelvin NgaiKelvin Ngai

Kelvin Ngai is a Hong Kong musician who works as a composer, arranger, and producer and has also served as a concert keyboardist. One starting point in his music career came in 1999, when a chance encounter introduced him to 許願 and he joined 星工廠 as a songwriter.

Across collaborations with different singers, his work on J.Arie's music, and his time with RubberBand, Kelvin Ngai took on various roles: he composed "一個人戀愛" for Ekin Cheng, arranged and produced J.Arie's "青春期," and co-composed "發現號."

During his time with RubberBand, Kelvin Ngai was the keyboardist and took part in writing the band's songs. He helped form the band in 2006 and left in October 2010. Wen Wei Po attributed his departure to excessive fatigue.

"阿波羅," composed by Kelvin Ngai, won the 新城勁爆頒獎禮2009勁爆原創歌曲獎, placed second in the 2009年度叱咤樂壇流行榜頒獎典禮專業推介叱咤十大, and was also selected for the 加拿大至HIT中文歌曲排行榜年度總選全國推崇十大粵語歌曲.

Kelvin Ngai founded ZolarWind in 2015, and the band became ZolarWind 2.0 after changing lead vocalists in 2019. Across the two phases, he composed and produced ZolarWind's "七百萬個小宇宙," produced "乾坤卦," and composed, arranged, and produced ZolarWind 2.0's "拳手."
