Lin Chien-yuan is the drummer of the Taiwanese indie band Tizzy Bac. He joined the group in 2003, having previously played in the indie pop band 13（拾參）.

After Lin Chien-yuan joined, the band's style centered on rock. An interview by Blow also noted that Lin Chien-yuan applied gospel-style linear drumming to the rock band's songs.

The band uses a collaborative approach to songwriting. Taipei Times reported that although Chen Hui-ting writes the lyrics, the three members consider the overall creative process thoroughly collaborative; the songwriting and arrangements are also jointly reviewed by bassist Levon Hsu and Lin Chien-yuan.

After "易碎物," the three members went their separate ways in 2013. Lin Chien-yuan went to the United States to study recording engineering and, after returning to Taiwan, worked as a touring musician for 亂彈阿翔, HUSH, and 白安.

Blow reported that Lin Chien-yuan came to terms relatively early with the conflicts that preceded the hiatus and was the member most eager for a reunion, so he was the first to invite the others to a meal. For "吹動生命的風," Chen Hui-ting and Lin Chien-yuan invited Mo (陳彥奇) to play bass.
