About the artist

Masaki Matsuura is a Japanese drummer born on January 22, 1993. After entering Shimane University, Matsuura was at the same university as Satoshi Fujihara and Makoto Narazaki, though they were in different years; Daisuke Ozasa attended the nearby Matsue College of Technology. The four did not immediately form a band and continued pursuing different activities for more than two and a half years afterward.

The four formed Official Hige Dandism on June 7, 2012, with Masaki Matsuura on drums. In addition to performing, Matsuura has also helped design the group's merchandise and LINE stickers.

Discussing the rhythm of "HELLO," Masaki Matsuura said that the members wanted a rhythm that did not drive forward excessively but still felt powerful, and that they also decided the song's tempo through discussion. Matsuura added that "ミックスナッツ" is fast and contains many jazz elements, making it difficult to perform; it also took the longest to record the drums among the songs on the associated album.
